When leaves start changing colors, football games begin and pumpkin spice everything comes around, it means it’s officially fall time. October 31 is a special day for fall lovers: Halloween. It is almost time to begin thinking about that special costume that is sure to stand out.
“This year, I’m making sure my Halloween costume stands out,” said junior Sophia Anton. “Last year, I was Blair from Gossip Girl, and it was a huge hit. I might do something along the lines of a movie theme again.”
While some students prefer going with the cute costume, others would like something a little more frightening.
“This year I’m going as a She-Wolf,” said junior Savannah Perry. “A She-Wolf is a perfect costume. It’s the perfect mix between cute and scary. I can’t wait.”
Others would rather show their creative side through their costume making.
“This year I would love to go as sexy Harambe,” said junior Frankie Tipton. “Harambe was innocently killed and I feel like if I don’t take a stand… who will?”
Surprisingly, some of the boys of Cabell Midland High also have high hopes about their perfect Halloween costume.
“For Halloween this year, I have decided to be original and go as the Ninja Turtle Michael Angelo,” said junior Jase Raynes. “Michael Angelo is by far the most amazingly awesome Ninja Turtle known. I have idolized him my entire life, because he would always say, ‘cowabunga dudes!’
This Halloween is sure to bring plenty of sweet, spooky and scary surprises when it comes to costume choice.
