Winter can be one of the most magical times of the year when it comes to romance. The cuddly weather brings couples closer and closer together. So the next time you and your significant other want to go on a date this winter, try one of these ideas.

  • Head to Starbucks for a coffee and hot chocolate date. This activity will allow you and your date to converse while not feeling rushed. Plus, who doesn’t love Starbucks?
  • Go to The Escape Room, in Huntington, and work together to solve one of the cases they give you in time.
  • Find a decent, steep hill after it snows and have a sledding race.
  • If you guys want to stay indoors, have a Christmas movie marathon on Netflix, and watch a movie like “Jack Frost”. Just be ready for the tears to flow.
  • Go outside, after a snow fall, and work together to build a snowman. You can use random objects around the house, such as carrots for the nose, or use your resources outside, such as twigs for the arms. Afterwards, start a snowball fight. There’s nothing better than playing in the snow.
  • If you guys enjoy cooking, you could bake and decorate gingerbread men and houses. Wal-Mart sells kits with many options; you can even build one dinosaur themed.

These ideas will almost never fail to keep you and your significant other entertained in the cold and snowy weather.
