Watching Christmas movies is a tradition shared by many families.

Freeform, originally known as ABC Family begins its annual “25 Days of Christmas” movie event Dec. 1, 2016, and this is the 20th consecutive year the premiere has been shown. The premier is cable’s biggest programming event of the year.
The movies are shown most of the day throughout the week, but the majority of the movies are shown on Friday through Sunday.
Freeform kicks off the “25 Days of Christmas” with “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory”, a movie that was released in 1971 and based off a book by Roald Dahl.
Here is a list of the top nine movies from “Freeform’s 25 Days of Christmas”.
1. “The Polar Express”
