Halloween is just around the corner, which means if you’re planning on dressing up and haven’t got your costume yet, time is running out! Here are ten creative and easy to make DIY Halloween costumes that you can try if you don’t know what you want to be!

  1. A Scarecrow

This costume is super cute and super simple! All you need is a flannel shirt and some face paint. If you want to get even more creative, you can also stuff some straw into your sleeves and get some overalls.

  1. A Deer

This costume is a pretty popular one and is great if you like playing around with makeup! The only colors you need are shades of brown, black, and white, and you can design it however you want. Then just get a headband and attach either brown pipe cleaners or actual sticks to make the antlers!

  1. A Pineapple

This costume is a little different which makes it original! Just throw on a yellow t-shirt or dress, then, using green cardstock, attach various leaf shapes to a toilet paper roll. Glue the finished product to a headband, and now you have your stem!

  1. An Emoji

This one has gotten super popular lately! Choose your favorite emoji face, get a yellow shirt, then cut the shape of the eyes and mouth out of felt and use a hot glue gun to stick it to the shirt.

  1. Mike Wazowski & Sully

This costume is perfect for a pair of friends! For Mike, just get a green shirt, and use white, blue, and black felt to create the eye and mouth. For Sully, get a blue shirt, and use purple felt for the polka-dots. After that, all you need is a hot glue gun!

  1. Day of the Dead

You can be super creative with this one! All you need is white face paint for the base, then different colored face paints or makeup for the details! You can also add flowers and other accessories to your hair for a little extra glam.

  1. Rosie the Riveter

This costume is a classic that never gets old! You just need a jean jacket, some black leggings or jeans, a red headband, and some boots.

  1. Minnie Mouse

This costume is really cute and everyone loves Disney! A black shirt, a red skirt, and mouse ears are all you need to complete this look. If you don’t have the iconic mouse ears headband that they sell at Disney World, you can make your own out of construction paper or fabric.

  1. A Gumball Machine

This costume is very original! Take a white shirt and glue as many multi-colored cotton balls on it as you want, then pair it with some red pants. After that, take a piece of cardstock and write ‘25 cents’ on the front, then glue it to the bottom of your shirt!

  1. A Unicorn

This one is magically beautiful! All you need is a white shirt, a rainbow wig (which can be found at any costume store), and some colorful makeup! Then you can make a horn out of white paper and attach it to a headband. This costume can be really fun to play around with, and the more glitter, the better!
