Best Places to see Christmas Lights

Christmas is coming up soon which means the festivities are already underway! Everyone loves looking at Christmas lights so here are a few places around the Tri-State area where you can see some great ones!

1. Oglebay
Located in Wheeling, WV, Oglebay is probably the most famous Christmas destination in West Virginia and is well known for its annual Festival of Lights. They change up their displays every year, but there are still some classics they always have like the tunnel of lights. You can see anything from candy canes and elves to safari animals and dinosaurs!

2. Ashland
Located in Ashland, KY, the Winter Wonderland of Lights is good for people wanting to stay closer to home and not drive very far. There is a wide variety of different lights, even an entire Christmas village!

3. Gallipolis
Located in Gallipolis, OH, there is also a great assortment of lights there at the city park right by the riverside and a giant Christmas tree!

4. Cedar Lake
Located in Ripley, WV, Winterfest lasts the entire month of December and, in addition to Christmas lights, there’s a photo opportunity with Santa, holiday concerts, and even carriage rides!

5. Point Pleasant
Located in Point Pleasant, WV, the Christmas Fantasy Light show takes place in Krodel Park and is a must-see this holiday season.
