Winter is officially here which means it’s time to break out those coats and mittens. But just because it’s cold outside doesn’t mean you can’t have fun! Here are ten activities you can participate in this season.


1. Sledding

This activity is fun for all ages and can keep you entertained for hours. Just find a good hill and you’re all set!

2.Having a Snowball Fight

Everyone loves snowball fights and this is an activity kids and adults can join in.

3.Building a Snowman

This is the perfect activity for younger kids; all they need is a carrot and some items for the eyes and mouth like buttons.

4.Going Ice Skating

There are lots of different types of ice skating, like figure skating, speed skating, and even ice dancing.

5.Making Snow Angels

This is one of the easiest winter activities to do because all you have to do is lay down and move your arms and legs like you’re doing jumping jacks.


Downhill and cross-country skiing are really popular winter activities. People that aren’t very experienced at skiing can try out the bunny trails and green circle trails.


This is more popular with teenagers because they can do all sorts of tricks.


This is a safer alternative to skiing and snowboarding but it’s still just as fun.


Beginners might want to wear a helmet for this but it doesn’t take long to get the hang of at all.

10.Building a Snow Fort

This can entertain kids for hours as they try to build a fort, or even an igloo, that is big and durable.
