Choosing Your Future

Bridget Rajarajan, staff reporter

The future is a scary thing to think about. Unless you actually know what you’re going to do and you have a plan. Some people though don’t have a plan, even in high school.

Since we were children people ask us what we want to be when we grow up, but it’s a hard question. How do you choose what you’re going to do for the rest of your life in just the first few years of your life? You haven’t experienced anything and you don’t know what you like to do.

For some people, there’s the struggle of having to go to college and stay for a long time to just get a got and please their parents. Then there are some other people who just skip college and wing their way through life. It’s not the best of options, but if it’s what they want to do, then they should go and be happy.

When a kid chooses what they want to be when they grow up, they shouldn’t be judged by┬átheir choice. They were asked what they want to be and they gave their answer. It’s difficult to choose one thing you’re going to do for the rest of your life, especially if you don’t even love the idea of it.

Loving what you’re going to do in the future is the most important thing in the world. All the choices you make impact your whole life, even though it sounds stressful, if you love it, you have to go for it.
