Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is less than a week away now which means it’s time to start thinking about flowers, chocolate, teddy bears, and, of course, your loved ones.

This special holiday of love can either be a great thing or a not so great thing depending on who you ask. Some people enjoy it while others can’t wait to get it over with. Junior Amber Mount says there isn’t much she likes about Valentine’s Day, but there certainly are a whole lot of things she dislikes.

“I honestly don’t like anything about Valentine’s Day. I dislike everything about it,” said Mount.

People can do a number of things on Valentine’s Day, like going to see a movie, going out to eat, or just having fun with that special someone. For those who happen to be single this year, they have the freedom to do whatever they want, even if it means staying home and watching Netflix all night.

“On Valentine’s Day I usually just sit at home and watch Netflix,” said Mount.

Whether you’re in a relationship or not, Valentine’s Day is a time where you will be surrounded by love no matter what. If you’re wishing you had a significant other to celebrate with, don’t feel bad. There are plenty of people out there who will be having their own fun this year.

“For any girl or boy who’s going to be single for it this year, I feel you. Come hang with me,” said Mount.
