Cell Phones @ Midland

Kylie Smith, Reporter

It is said by many administrators and teachers that cell phones should not be used in schools and that they are a distraction to many students. But are they really that bad?

If students were able to be on their phones it could open a whole new world to the education setting. For example, students could use quizlet in-between classes to study and improve test scores, or students could read online books, or even do something as simple as check the time so they aren’t late for class. Allowing students to use their cell phones might result in an improved education and maybe even an overall better attitude towards educational settings.
