2018 saw the release of sequels for many popular movies. From The Incredibles 2, to Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindlewald, as well as Deadpool 2 and Ant-Man and the Wasp. While not every movie can be a success, there were many hits in 2018, and some new movies, as well as sequels, slated for 2019
Star Wars Chapter IX
As the final installment of the main Star Wars series, chapter nine has yet to be given an official title or release date, but is set to release this year. Speculation has begun as to what events will take place, with one of the more common rumors begin about a group known as the Knights of Ren.
After some 7 years of Avengers movies, the fourth installment will draw the series to a close. Following the events of the 3rd installment, Avengers: Infinity War, Endgame tells the story of the remaining Avengers searching for a way to bring back those wiped out by Thanos, the main antagonist from the last film, and confront him.
Having already been released this year, Glass is the final chapter in a story arc of the Unbreakable series, which has been going on for nearly 20 years. The story tells of the main characters from the 1st and 2nd films being captured and taken into a psychiatric hospital, where a doctor tries to convince them that they aren’t superhuman, but rather just believe they are.
Based on the hit game series that started in 1996, Pokémon, Detective Pikachu is set in the fictional city of Ryme, a young man seeks the help of Detective Pikachu in a search for his missing father. What they learn along the way indicates something much larger is happening around them, something that could threaten their entire universe.
