Getting Enough Sleep..???

Do you feel tired at school? Do you fall asleep when your math teacher is going over the notes? Do you nod off while in the car or bus?

If you answered yes to any of these questions you are probably not getting enough sleep. The average teen or adult needs about 7-8 hours of sleep each night! Sleep is absolutely essential to health, motivation, and your mood. If you are sleeping 2-3 hours per night it may seriously affect your health. Not only does it do the obvious, make you tired, but it physically drains your body. This is called sleep deprivation and it can lead to many things from just the increased chance of obesity to possibly even death. Teens especially need to be careful and watch their sleep. Getting the recommended amount of sleep may also increase your motivation and mood. If you are well rested you are definitely more likely to get stuff done and even be nicer or happier while doing it!! GET ENOUGH SLEEP!!!!!
