World’s Favorite Season: Fall

Whitney Herrera, Reporter

Who doesn’t love the fresh fall air? Waking up to caramel scented candles along with cinnamon spice blowing through your scents as you take a breath. It’s that time of the year everyone is excited for, including you.

What makes this season the best is some of the holidays that are included, like Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Labor Day. While Labor Day isn’t really much of a dress up holiday, Halloween will have you frightened and Thanksgiving will have you stuffed with joy.

Fall or Autumn marks the transition from summer to winter, in September or March, when the duration of daylight becomes noticeably shorter and the temperature cools considerably. This lets us know that it’s time to put away the bug spray and bring out the pumpkins! Oh yes, time to get to carving, at home or at a festival and Halloween is the best time to start. That’s when you can pop out the costumes and try to scare your parents!

Thanksgiving is about giving and cherishing moments with your families, bringing everyone close and enjoying a full meal, gossiping to one another about boys or how someone in your family can’t get their car running.

The 2 best months of the year are October and November, which are not only autumn time, but Scorpio season for us feisty human beings. It brings smiles upon people’s faces, and the leaves changing color brings out the brightest. From red, yellow and orange, it’s a blessing to see something so wonderful and having the wind whistling in your ear. Don’t forget the pumpkin spice lattes and the pies: the best thing you could ever have for a dessert, especially the whipped cream!

Whether you like summer, spring, or winter, I can guarantee you, fall is the world’s most favorite season.
