Senior Year

Amber Mount, Reporter

Senior year is the year I have been waiting for since the second I walked into high school. When I walked around the hallways as a freshman I was so excited for when I would finally be a senior. It’s the year you finally have to start actually thinking about your future.

As stressful as that may sound, it’s a sense of freedom. As a senior you savor every moment you can because it’s your last memories of high school. Some may not care about high school and its memories, but for a good amount of people it means everything. It’s your last football games, pep rallys, yearbook pictures, etc. You are so used to being around the same people every day since elementary school. College is going to be a huge change. As many say, high school memories are the ones you are going to remember and look back on for the rest of your life.

So, don’t stress and work yourself too much, you have the rest of your life to do that. Go to all the football games you can, spend time with your friends and family, and take so many pictures. Those will be the only things you have to look back at in the end. I guarantee we will all miss these years.
