Jeep Unveiling New Model in 2022

Hannah Tomes, Editor

The Jeep Wagoneer has been around for decades, but Jeep has recently announced they are working on a new, re-vamped version of the iconic model set to be released in 2022.

Production will begin in Detroit sometime in late 2021. No one knows for sure what they will look like yet, but some design ideas and renderings have been released to the public. They might not be completely accurate, but they are based on a concept that was shown a couple years ago at an auto show in Shanghai. Many are wondering whether or not they will offer the wood-grain siding like they had in the 80’s and 90’s. So far, people are guessing the two main colors this Jeep will be offered in are white and dark green. One thing that’s for sure is that hybrids will be an option, because the FCA revealed that the new Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer will get gas-electric plug-in variants.

Whatever the new model ends up looking like, Jeep lovers can start getting excited about the fresh design manufacturers are adding to this already classic brand.
