South Point, Ohio is a quaint town where everyone is familiar with each other. Organization People for the Point, in South Point always hosts a welcoming pancake breakfast for all in December. The whole town usually becomes involved in the morning and afternoon event, and everyone has fun. South Point Volunteer Fire Department participates every year, and this also provides a perfect opportunity to get your community service hours.

The morning always begins with setting the tables, and starting to prepare food. The kitchen offers eggs, sausage, pancakes, biscuits, and other breakfast foods. During breakfast, the gym is set up with crafts and homemade items for sale. You can quickly stroll through and see puppies, candles, and other knick knacks. After most of the breakfast crowd dies down, there is always a Christmas themed movie played in the gymnasium for the children.
