Gerrit Cole and Didi Gregorius Join New Teams

With the MLB free agency starting two of the biggest names have already decided where there new destination will be.

Gerrit Cole was the pitcher for the Houston Astros last year. His contract ended and now he has signed with the New York Yankees. The contract is worth $324 million dollars and is for 9 years. This is worth $36 million dollars a year. Last year  Gerit started 33 games on the mound for the Astros, his record was 20-5.

Didi Gregorius was the New York Yankees shortstop last year. He made his decision to sign with the Philadelphia Phillies. His deal is for one year worth $14 million dollars. Didi is going into his 9th MLB season. He has hit 110 home runs in his career. He had 27 home runs last year along. He appeared in 82 games for the Yankees last season.
