Los Angeles is full of amazing, colourful, and exciting views. There is an unthinkable amount of activities to do in Los Angeles. If you are a lover of entertaining architecture, and interesting shops, you would adore Chinatown.

Every day is a normal day in Chinatown, but around New Years Eve, the small village is full of life and many people participating in different cool things. The walkway is constantly lit with paper lanterns on strings hung from each building almost like garland would be on a Christmas tree. You can expect to see a lot of reds, pinks, yellows, blues, greens, and many other colours upon visiting. If you visit at the right time of day, you may run into the crowd there for the rave parties. There weren’t many glow in the dark items, but a large tent was set up in front of the dj stand. Many sellers of the town set up stands with boxes of party poppers around the holidays.

On normal days, you can expect to see shops full of bustling people, collectible items, and merchandise from China itself. There are many apparel items to buy, many things such as katanas, wakizashis, and others. There is also a small instrument shop with string and drum sets. You can also find many small dim sum restaurants with amazing homemade style Chinese dumplings.

Whether you want an interesting sight, or to make memories of visiting, Chinatown may be the way to go.
