There are many reasons why you should volunteer in your community. A few are to gain more connections, give back, and to feel good about yourself. By volunteering at local hospitals and elementary schools you can meet a lot of new people who might be able to help you apply for a job later in the future. It is important to give back to your community as well. You can help out in the local food kitchens or even raise toys for the children’s hospital. In addition, most of these activities would look good on a resume. Volunteering is so rewarding and everyone should be able to experience it.
