On 3/2/2020 the Miami Heat played the Milwaukee Bucks in Miami. The Heat won 105-89. The Miami Heat stopped the Greek Freak, and held him to only 13 points. He also had 15 rebounds and 3 assist.

This was a very hard fought game, the Heat held the Bucks to their lowest scoring game of the season. Most of the credit goes to their All Star bigman Bam Adebayo. He guarded Giannis for most of the game, Antetokounmpo went 1-of-10 with Adebayo as his primary defender, including 0-of-7 on contested shots. Bam had this to say after the game on his defence on the league reigning MVP. “We’re always the underdog. I feel like we can play with anybody. And my teammates believe that, the coaching staff believes that and this city believed it,” Adebayo said. “So we can play with anybody and this is one knock off and we just gotta keep going from here.”

Bam also had 14 points, 13 rebounds, and 5 assist in this game, but he wasn’t the only player that was getting it done for the Heat. Off the bench Goran Dragic had 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assist. Rookie guard Kendrick Nunn had 18, and Jimmy Butler also had 18. New addition Jae Crowder also had a very effective game last night, scoring 18 off the bench and also 4 rebounds and 4 assist. Miamis knockdown bigman Kelly Olynyk also had a very effective game. Scoring 11 points in 11 minutes.

One of the only players who were on their game for the Bucks was veteran big man Brook Lopez. He had 21 points and 6 rebounds.

The Bucks are now 52-9 and still 1st in the Eastern Conference, they also have the best record in the NBA. The Heat are 39-22 and 4th in the Eastern Conference.

Both of these teams hope to improve over the year, they want to keep their level of playing up and both teams hope to fight to make the 2020 NBA Finals.
