During the stoppage of the 2019-2020 NBA season due to the Caronavirus  outbreak the video game company 2K created a online basketball tournament. This is between 16 NBA players, all of these games will be aired on ESPN.

The match ups are Brookylns Kevin Durant vs Miamis Derrick Jones J., Atlanta’s Trae Young vs Sacaramentos Harrison Barnes, Portlands Hassan Whiteside vs LA Clippers Patrick Beverly, Utah’s Donovan Mitchell vs Washington Rookie Rui Hachimura, Phoenix’s Devin Booker vs Nuggets Michael Porter Jr., Cleveland’s Andrea Drummond vs Demarcus Cousins, Chicago’s Zach Lavine vs Phoenix’s Deandre Ayton, and LA Clippers Montrezl Harrell vs Indiana’s Domantas Sabonis.

This is a 10 day long event, each game takes about 1 hour to complete, due to commercials and time outs. They play on 6 minute quarters, and use a different team each game.

As I’m writing this two games have taken off, Derrick Jones Jr. beat Kevin Durant by 16. Derrick used the Clippers and Jones used the Milwaukee Bucks.

The 2nd game between Deandre Ayton and Zach Lavine is still going on, It’s the 4th quarter, Deandre is using the Houston Rockets and Zach is using the Miami Heat.

I think that this is a very good idea, It gives NBA fans some type of basketball to watch during this hyenas.
