Final Presidential Debate

Final Presidential Debate

Jessina Stender, Reporter

On the date of October 22, 2020, President Donald Trump and democratic nominee butt heads for the last debate for presidency. The last debate was held on September 29th, 2020, when there was a very big fight on whether the moderator was fair enough or our president was answering his questions thoroughly. Though this debate was much cleaner than the last and the candidates were much more respectful to one another, rather than talk over one another, bring unnecessary topics into conversation that maybe offensive to the other, they also had stricter controls on speaking time. It was taken out in Nashville, Tennessee, less than two weeks before the election which is November the third.

Our president is currently behind in the polls, whereas Biden is at 53% for Instant Poll Surveys of who won the debate CNN, Trump being at 39%, the Instant Poll is a poll that represents the people who only watched the actual debate. If the polls do not straighten up for the benefits of Trump, he will be left at an undesirable position. Like the presidential election the year he came to office, there might be a error in the polling, allowing him to have a slightest chance to remain our republican president for the next four years.
