Not so Scary Halloween Movies

Morgan McKinney, Reporter

I’ve found three movies that are quirky, funny, and not-so-scary, so that the whole family can watch them. The movies I found are called It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, Young Frankenstein, and The Nightmare Before Christmas. I think these movies would be good for the whole family.

It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown: This isn’t exactly a movie, but i consider it to be one. This about how Linus and Sally wait in a pumpkin patch for the Great Pumpkin to give them toys to the good boys and girls. Meanwhile Lucy, Charlie Brown, and a group of their friends go trick or treating. They then meet with their friends at a Halloween party. Meanwhile, Snoopy is having an adventure of his own as a World War 1 flying ace. That’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.

Young Frankenstein: this movie is about how Dr. Frankenstein dies then gives his experiments to his grandson. His grandson’s name is Felix, and studies the human body. When he needs a brain for his new project he sends his assistant to go get a brain. However he drops the normal brain, so instead he takes an abnormal brain. the rest of the movie your gonna have to watch to see what happens

The Nightmare Before Christmas: The Nightmare Before Christmas is about how Jack Skeleton is tired of the same thing every year. When he learns about Christmas, he wants to take it over and turn it into the new Halloween. However, Sally is against this because Jack could get seriously hurt. Jack won’t listen to Sally, and he goes through with his idea.

Those are 3 not-so-scary Halloween movies that are good for the whole family.
