Halloween

Halloween

Harper Goldy, Reporter

Halloween’s origins date back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. People would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. Over time, Halloween evolved into a day of activities like trick-or-treating, carving jack-o-lanterns, festive gatherings, donning costumes and eating treats.

Halloween was on a Saturday this year. I loved it. I ate so much candy and I watched old Halloween movies all night. It is one of my favorite holidays. I’m sad that it’s over now, but I really had a good time.
