Returning Full Time

March 8, 2021
Returning back to to five days at Cabell Midland was a clutter. The hallways are more crowded, lunch is packed, and classes are full.
After getting used to quiet classes, returning back to 5 days a week was a shock. I didn’t think the halls could get much louder, but I was wrong. I’m glad to see more people, but surprised by the booming that came with it.
The new people, bell schedule, and lunch was almost over whelming to get used to right away. Not only did we have more people, we had to get used leaving class at different time. Class lengths changed and lunch is cozier than it used to be. We no longer have to sit on the green spacing dots, we just have to have a desk shield in front of us.
The new normal for school was easy to get used to. It didn’t take as long as I thought it would to be okay with the new surplus of students. Having the opportunity to meet new people is one of the pros to being back all 5 days. For me, it’s a lot easier to get all of my work done while i’m at school, so I enjoy the change. Although getting less sleep for it to happen isn’t ideal.
