Hello, I’m Megan Martin. I’m a freshman staff reporter for the Medieval Times. I have an old soul with a love for older music and movies. Anything 80s and 90s has my heart. I have simple interests, such as baking and reading, but I don’t shy away from trying something new, such as learning to play guitar, joining a dance team or even taking a flying lesson. (I highly recommend the flying lesson, by the way.) I’m heavily involved in my church and have a strong sense of faith. I also cherish my friends and will do whatever I can to make them smile. I have a large family and it’s never a dull moment when they’re around. Holidays are interesting. Game nights are INSANE. It’s always fun, though. I also have a fondness for almost anything Disney. Especially since that’s how I got my name. In the Disney movie, Hercules, the character, Hades, calls Megara, ‘my little nutmeg’. My dad loved it so much, my parents decided to call me Megan, and yes, I still get called ‘Nutmeg’, too.
